Adam Olschewske started roofing in 1987, at the age of 14, as a summer job for his uncle's roofing company in Seneca County. Over the years Adam worked for different companies in the industry learning all facets of the roofing world from supplier to installer to manager.

During these years he had the opportunity to meet and work with some great people. Unfortunately there were some dishonest people as well. Adam saw first hand how crooked some contractors can be. He thought why not just treat people the way you would want to be treated; Fairly and in an honest manner. This would one day evolve into the company slogan "We will treat your home as if it were our own."

In his late 20's Adam met & married Colleen Marshall and moved to Newark in Wayne county. Quickly realizing the lack of honest quality roofing companies in the area, he decided to give it a try on his own. In the year 2000 Marshall Exteriors was formed. Adam chose the name Marshall after his wifes family and because Olschewske doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

With alot of blood, sweat & hard work Marshall Exteriors quickly became a household name in Newark. Thanks to smart marketing in the 2004 season the company began a continued trend of rapid growth. Continuing to this day, that growth has led Marshall Exteriors to become the leading roofing company in Wayne county.

2008 saw many changes for Adam and Marshall Exteriors. In May Marshall Exteriors won the 2008 National Award of Excellence from the CertainTeed corporation. Also Adam became a member of Rotary International. In June The village of Newark gave Marshall Exteriors 3 acres of land to build on in order to keep the ever growing company in town. In July the company built and moved into its new headquarters on West Shore Blvd. Also in July the company became a Corporation.

The future is looking bright for Marshall Exteriors, LLC. So far in 2009 they have won an award from the Better Business Bureau for no complaints in the company history. They have won the GAF/ELK Master Elite award for training excellence. Most recently Marshall Exteriors, LLC has been nominated as one of the top residential roofing companies in the United States by roofing contractor magazine. In March Marshall Exteriors announced the opening of thier second location In Fairport, NY and welcomed Ben Mastronardi as branch manager.
